Builder and mechanic MUST have a good relationship. Plus 1000 on recommending the Mad Scientist (Todd K.) He has never done me wrong.

He and Akram built an 800 rwhp car for me that had no issues. Akram and I had a bit of a falling out (not because of his mechanical abilities, it was something else) but Steve Ott also works very very well w/ Todd K.

In any event, hope you get things sorted.

Fixed. It is the true dyno amount not a guesstimate.

Motor is going back to Scott. I have faith all will work.

I live one mile away from akram's shop...i will never step foot in there again. Steve is 20 miles away from me and I gladly make the drive.

builder pulled off the head and checked everything. he said everything looked good. he did a leakdown before and found 2-4% on every cylinder from top down center and bottom center

he is replacing the rings on the cylinders to fix the smoking issue

he is also replacing the head gasket, resealing valve covers and some other gaskets


not really sure where to go from here

current plan is to have him ship the motor back to my mechanic

i am getting Todd's dual-intake system installed and fender intakes and will put it on the street and see what happens
