I don't know of too many people that participate on this board and can resist the urge to mod it

 

the urge is irresistable, i'm waiting on wheels to arrive this wednesday, then lowering it, still working on exhaust, nowthinking of going with europipe, other various parts are ordered and incoming!

and this was the car that i swore i was going to keep stock!!!

 

The 996 convertible, IMHO, is the first topless Porsche that looks good with the top down. I only wish they would have had a ragtop in '02.

Kinda strange that I have yet to meet a NE PCA'er that is active on 6speed... must be two distinct different of enthusiasts the "bling" crowd versus the "traditionalists"

 

i think there are two different crowds, i have been to a couple of events attended by pca'ers this year, the intor meeting at IRA and a couple of week ago there were a few pca'ers down at the Inskip meet, and usually there will be a few at German Car day at the Larz Anderson this sunday june 19th, but you are right, there are few if any that are active in both circles
