There Are Good People In The World - Thank You TIM941NYC
#16
As a few of you may have have read I've had some problems with the knock sensor on my car recently
The wiring had completely severed meaning it couldn't get a signal, and kept throwing my car into limp mode
The wiring had severed right at the end of the plug meaning I had nothing to solder on to, and the plug itself was also damaged - Thinking maybe rodent damage
After a few days searching I hadn't been able to find a replacement plug, meaning things were going to get very difficult for me trying to refit the existing damaged item
Then Tim contacted me and said he had a spare plug complete with wiring that he could send to me
LEGEND!
This morning my package arrived on my doorstep
At his own cost, and time, Tim has sent (from US to UK) the knock sensor and wiring that I need in order to get my car fixed and back on the road
I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you to this forum, and a very big thank you to Tim for helping me out like he has
Tim your help is very much appreciated
Proof there really are good people in the world

Ant,
Thank you for the kind words. But really this is what a forum is about. No? I hope that fixes your problem.

I wish all forum posts could lead to the warm fuzzy feeling this one gave me, rather than the childish bickering that has somehow become increasingly pervasive. Keep fighting the good fight Tim. Much Respect.

6speed used to be full of people like you. The numbers have dwindled but its good that we still have some if you guys around. I can't remembernames off the top of my head but there are more people I think I will thank again for helping me learn more about my car.
