Mechanic recommendations for either the San Fernando Valley or San Gabriel Valley...

Looking for a mechanic that can work on both a 996TT as well as a 911SC. I realize that the 911SC mechanic may be a little tough to find as the car seems to have outlasted the people that know how to work on them.

Thanks

If you are working with stock cars, I recommend 2. Both are worth the drive:

Lomita 911
Dieter & Vicki 310-534-3631
1216 253rd St
Harbor City, CA 90710
Off Normandie

Otto's Venice
Otto, Daniel

(310) 399-3221
707 Hampton Dr, Venice, CA

IF you are working with a modded turbo and/or want to mod it, Contact Sam (SAMBOTT) through the Private message function.

I second the recommendation of sam @sambott on 6spd as not only an expert on mods but always there to answer the dumb questions I always have.

Speed Gallery in NoHo is about the best local speed shop I know of in the sfv for these cars ( turbos ). An old SC would pose them no problems. They race and fix pcars. But I would begin with Sambott for advice or even work you may need done. He will sort you out.

Thanks and PM sent. I'll look into the other two shops as well, though normally when I'm doing a drop off for service or repair, I'm reliant on getting a lift from my wife back from the shop...which isn't a good thing, I'm much better off keeping her FAR away from this.
