Word.

They were definitely complicit if not acting a bit entitled. Even on my slow BMW GS, I'm sure I would've outrun a 20 year old LTD or whatever the hell that car was. Lincoln? Old school.

I'm not saying they deserve to be hit. Of course, they do not. But it was obvious from the video that the bikers were escalating the situation by continually coming after him.
This.

One word. WOW. When I ride I do not ride with the traffic. I do not fear a speeding ticket as much as some fool like that or the hair brain talking on the phone in their suv or mini van That never look in the mirror or claim to not here your straight piped bike because their music was too loud. I had a guy go nuts on my in my turbo because it was to loud. I would speed up and he would ride the shoulder to catch up to me with his girl in the mini van at over 100mph. I the end he got a lesson on the you never know! glad it was not me who got the lesson.

I'm surprised so many of you are siding with the Bikers. Yes, the guy in the car is an idiot, but no more moronic on pulling alonside a 2 ton POS car time after time and yelling at him on your 300 lb bike.

The bikes could have easily stopped or just punched it and left the guy instead of continuously endangering everyone's lives. You can clearly hear how articulate they were though at the end, so that explains a lot.

The blame seems 50/50 to me. They are clearly not in a gun toting state or this would have ended much more quickly.

At some point the bikers should stop messing with this guy. Why push the guys wrong buttons. I would definitely not have pulled up next to him at 60 mph, to ask what his problem was, thats for sure.

The Bikers were being ******** squids, BUT !!!!! In NO WAY does that excuse trying to MURDER them! The Car driver should be in jail for attempted murder at the very least.

I ride my Motorcycle EVERY DAY to work, as well as at weekends and at the track and I have to be so careful every day because a ton of Car drivers are dangerously oblivious, or downright sociopathic. No turn signals, changing lanes with no warning, pulling a u-turn in the middle of the Golden Gate Bridge... REALLY.. in the middle of the freaking bridge, turning right from the far left 4th lane! Eating a bowl of cereal, putting on makeup, texting... you name it, I've seen it.

Again; the Bikers are morons for their behaviour, but being a moron doesn't dictate being murdered by some fu(khead in a Car.

Agreed. Takes two to tango. Those bikers could and/or should have left that POS in the dust immediately.

Bikers going way faster than the flow of traffic is asking for trouble. I just encountered a situation where a biker flew past me on the freeway while I was trying to get out of the passing lane. I was going about 75, he was going a good 110-120 when he passed me on the right. Had I not been paying close attention, I could have easily clipped him by merging into his lane as he was trying to overtake. Pretty stupid thing to do.

Not by that much around 5-10 above the people that looked surprised as if I just come out of nowhere. No one looks in there mirrors or know what a signal is.

As a dedicated biker with 30+ years on the road I will say I feel safest when I am going faster that the flow of traffic. Now speeds like you are talking are not the safe riding speeds, they are the thrill seeking speeds. Yet Ironically on a bike that easily does almost 200mph they are still not that thrilling.

I get the idea of what you guys are saying, and at 5 mph faster than the flow of traffic it makes sense. But when they are going 20+ mph faster than the flow of traffic, it's a different story.

Because bikers have a much smaller silhouette than a car, it's easy for you to get missed in the blind spot for your average driver, even if they are paying attention. Add to that the horrific lack of attention of most people on the road and it's a recipe for accidents.
