Thanks guys. I traded the 996tt cab for the 360 Spidey. The M3 becomes (next week - I want it thoroughly inspected) the 993.

I see, I would take the E46 M3 over the 993 any day, except the Turbo S of course.

Me too not because I own one but this is a bad move imho. tHE 993 is a great car but it is going to be expensive should anything go wrong. As well for an everyday driver the M3 is far superior to the 993...

Not only that, I think the E46 m3 is a far more superior car to a stock 993 Carrera, the Turbo and Turbo S where a different story. But the M3 is a far better daily driver and a more modern car.

Geez, sorry to disappoint you guys

Here's my problem. I've always worshipped the 993 in both cab and tt form. This is prolly the last, best example that will come my way. It's barely broken in and cosmetically (in watch terms) 'it appears unworn'. Driving the thing, I say to myself, 'holy shiit, this is nice'.

I'm not rich and, while I could afford to have five cars, it would be a little stupid. So, in order to get the 993, the M3's gotta go. It still has to pass a PPI to my satisfaction, however.

Thanks for all the comments

Hey Jamie,
I have a 993 (that I would not sell for the M3 BTW) and am currently in the market to purchase an 01-02 M3 for a daily driver. I attempted to drive the 993 to and from work for a bit, but it did not feel right. I bought an older E-class and it has no soul. I need a fun car to drive every day! The 993 is a great car and a classic IMO. I will have many other cars but this one will stay in the garage untill I can justifiy (AND afford) selling it for a nice 996 GT3 or a 996 TT.
