Which wing do you prefer?
#17
My cars the 2nd one down, I liked the TA Type 1 wing but there was always something not right about the way it sat that bothered me. I switched to a Strosek Wing so this is my vote! If not the Strosek wing then I would go GT2 Full Deck Lid... I do not like at all the GT2 add on wing, I think it is bulky, and does not fit the car properly.

I hope you don't mind. a lot of those pictures are from 6speedonline members as it was the best source for pictures.
It took way to much time to find all those wing configurations shot from a similar angle.
The funny think is one of the most highly modded and fastest cars here is representing the stock 911.

How about no wing, just the ducktail?
I got tired of the aggravation of lift issues after a failed original and failed replacement in less than 20k original miles so I made a fixed raised position kit. Got tired of that pretty quickly, so I took it off. I actually like this the best so far.
I now need to make some flush mounted plugs to cover the ram holes. Any ideas what to use or how to do it? I was thinking of using black silicone RTV and molding them or possibly aluminum and having them black anodized, but that fades.
Note the chrome Turbo logo replaced with 911.

With a stock Turbo front bumper, I like the TechArt Type 1 (the NR Auto is a TA Type 1 replica) or the Strosek.
My car with a TA Type 1.
If you have a GT2 front bumper then the GT2 add on wing or GT2 deck lid looks the best. IMO the GT2 wings just look odd with the stock Turbo front bumper.

Perhaps you should have had a 5th vote saying "not sure". I like them all and the more I look at them the more I like them all .
Good God this is my first post in months, not been keeping too well and need cheering up, but thats a long story.

The GT2 spoiler looks like a large and tacky add-on IMO. It looks especially ugly from the rear where the support structure is just 1 large and flat panel that contrasts horribly with the rest of the lines of the car. I mentioned the F&F movies because those made the tacky ricer fad really take off in the late '90s/early 2000s.

I have the GT2 decklid and have seen the add on version. The add on version looks cheaper to me when it rises.
I would get the #4 to avoid the annoying hydraulics failures in the future or the look of it locked in the up position.
Strangely enough, if my car didn't come with #4, my wife was going to insist that I add it because she thinks the car looks like a "tadpole" without it. (don't know where that comes from)
