I assume his systems are mainly concealed and all about sound quality right?

Does he also dynamat and structurally do anything to the interior? I had a 4k system in one of my cars once, and every little rattle would drive me nuts when trying to listen to a quiet song (I'm a bit OCD about rattles).

Congrats!

Pics-every thing except the radio really looks stock, stealth system, not much bling.

Stats-10" sub, 8" mid bass, 6" in the doors etc. All made by Reus except the head.

Price. 3 K to start.

Call him or www.reususa.com

Do a search on this site with reus and read all the praise.

I am proud to be in the group/family.
Now you know what I mean about the Reus system. The best part is picking music to blast on the system. I listen to all types of music ranging from classical to Punk. Here are a couple of truly great "demo" tracks that you could try.

Kenny Chesney - Me and You - A must listen to track. Take out your cab on a warm summer night and blast this track with the top down.

Eric Clapton - Lay Down Sally - Blast this track as loud as you can handle as you leave from work on a Friday afternoon. Again, top down driving is a must!

Eagles - Hotel California (must be the live track from the "When Hell Freezes Over" album). Talk about thump!

Rage Against The Machine - Just about any track will blow your mind. Sound on the Reus system is incredible.

These are tracks that can be blasted so loud and clear on the Reus system that your neighbors down the block will come out and wonder WTF is going on. I don't know how loud you listen to your music but you now have a system that can be cranked up without a trace of distortion. I am talking about serious volume levels! I can completely drown out my Fabspeeds. My staff tell me that they could hear me coming down the alley behind my building and that's how they know when to start seating my patients.

Seriously, half the fun of having the system is rediscovering your music.

Enjoy and welcome to the club!

No, I am not the kind of guy that pulls up next to people at stop lights with the obnoxiously loud sound system blaring. I'm the guy that likes to blow past people with the obnoxiously loud sound system blaring!!

Seriously, when I am at a stoplight or in neighborhoods, I am respectful of my surroundings and keep things at an acceptable level.

OK, and thanks to everyone for the advice.
I will get those tracks when I have a chance.

can anybody comment on the bass response? i'm listen to more "bass heavy" music than the samples above. can the reus keep up? most of my systems in the past have consisted of at least two 12's.

It really thumps. I was a little surprised that it could make this much bass, but it is good clean bass with power. Are there other systems that punch harder? I am sure there are but not with this cab 911 and maintaining the stealth look and keeping the seats etc. If you wanted more, just ditch the rear seats and build a box there.

They are setting up in Fla. My installer was going there next week and is going to be setting up a place there. Call Rick and ask.

Base sounds clean. My volume will go up to "80" and the base is still clean. My car currently has 50Cent, Nelly, Green Day, Sean Paul and The Cure in it. They all sound great.

The "Hotel California" track is extremely bass heavy. That's why I say that you have to hear the track from their live "When Hell Freezes Over" album. Not a predominance of constantly pounding bass but the bass hits extremely hard and low. The Reus system handles bass extremely well but not as well as 2 12" subs would. Of course, that depends on the design of the 12" subs though. If you want tons of bass, your best bet is something with a lot of excursion and a huge magnet like a JL W7 but there is absolutely no place to put that in a cab unless you start pulling out the back seats and doing some obvious stuff. The Reus system is completely stealth. If you looked at a car that had the system with the exception of the coupes that have the dual rear subs, you would never know anything was done.

The overall bass response with the midbass driver is extremely accurate and very tight. The sub hits surprisingly low but without the midbass driver is not the most accurate low end I have heard. You really have to hear it to believe it. I tend to favor sealed enclosures so lots of tight midbass is essential for my listening tastes. If you want a booming system that will rattle your license plate frame you will have to sacrifice stock appearance to get it. There are other options as far as footwell subs or subs that fit in the footwells behind the passenger seats but you throw stock appearance out the window and lose quite a bit of room in the car. If that's the type of system you want, you might be better off with a "Unique Whips" type of system. I'm sure Reme could build you a nice fiberglass enclosure with neon lights.

Robert,
What head unit do you have and does it display the song, artist info etc? My eclipse does not, unless I am missing something.

Rick has the ultimate stealth/upgrade system.... u have a choice of 1-2 subs (probably 3) and you see nothing...... replace all stock speaker with the "appropriate sound range" customs which do not change the look at all............ massive amps that can be taken out for track events (very easy) and sound that can't be described...........U MUST HEAR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alpine with MP3 capability, XM tuner module and hidden XM antenna. I also have 3 amps in the system, 1 McIntosh and 2 Reus amps. The McIntosh was a total waste of money, Rick showed me that the Reus amps were every bit as good when I went to his shop for my midbass upgrade. Eclipse head units are much better but when I got mine, Eclipse did not have MP3 or Sat radio capabilities.

Robert,
I have the eclipse 8445, which is the next to the top one. I really like the sound, but the thing does not support RDS (radio song info) and even with the top up is almost impossible to see. The becker unit was superior in this. I can't understand eclipse, And the thing won't even tilt. PITA.
