I have ordered new tires for my car and they are not Michelin this time. I will soon have new wheels as well (avus 901 ,don't know what finish yet).
My new tires will be here next week, i have a contact bringing them in from Germany for me, they are made by Continental. These new tires are Z rated (good for 220mph). tread is 280 , traction is AA and temperature is A.
Without further delay, they are the ContiSportContact 2 Vmax. the size for my application are 235/35/19 on 19x9 wheels (front) and 315/25/19 on 19x12 wheels (rear).
My present wheels which are the avus Mo2's are for sale cheap this week, don't wait , they won't last . they are 19x9 (front) with 3" lip and 19x12 (rear) with 5" lip with michelin pilot sport tires with about 1000 miles. One price $3700.00
these wheels can be seen on my car in the Makes and Models magazine May issue.

 

I'm more interested in the new tires you are getting. I'm assuming these aren't available here yet, if at all. Are they a new issue from Conti? Please post a full report after you wear your new shoes. Thanks

Yep. The V-Max has been mentioned a few times here before and is the first tire on the market rated all the way to 224 mph. Prior to that, a Y rated tires is good until 186. So far, their is no letter description for the V-Max, so they call it just Z. Available in sizes:
