HI,,The chart may be fine in theory BUT as your speed increases in those upper mph ranges it ALSO takes alot more power to overcome the drag in the air to reach those speeds..
If you ever put your car on a Dyno and have it print the speed it would have a lot higher MPH then you could achieve in REAL life on the road...Why??..Drag..
Just Saying....

My car has a set of custom 5" AMS intercoolers.

The tranny is not to my liking as I really have no use for the top speed stuff. I would really like a new first through third gear set as first is almost useless and second is a tad bit to tall for easy starts.

5" , so you are definitely putting out some heat. Very cool.

As for the tranny, you basically modded 6th. I agree, I am not a fan of 1-3 either. That is why I am always asking what options others have done. I know the GT2 gearing is slightly different but barely.

true, but I have the feeling that if he using 5 inch IC's he's got some very serious power to go with those gears

Hey, size matters LOL

Isn't it time you change your avatar? After all the plastic surgery your car doesn't look like that any longer.

Hmm..So if I put 5 " intercooler over my 3.5 AWE ones, which is a bigger cooler and will need more boost because of the bigger volume to over come,, I will go a lot faster also?
What boost due you run and type of fuel do you run on this car?

how much power do you put out, that you think you need them? If I remember you were under 600 whp. I doubt you need 5 inchers for that

Thanks Eric... And thanks for all the help with the car and helping me getting it up and running at its very best again.

You guys and the Boys from B/B/I have gone out of there way to help me.

You really did go far above what was expected to help me take care of a problem that was not even your issue to take care of.

With the all new mods and tweeks after my break down this thing came off the Dyno the other day giving me numbers that many tuners say just is not (SAFELY) possible with just a K16 set up.

I will make a comparison.. There is another guy on here stating that his car that he bought from another shop broke down and he was not sure if they were going to take care of it.... I do not know the outcome of that story but I will say this...

I did not buy the car from you guys directly, I did have some issues with the car shortly after I bought it; but you guys really stepped up to try and help me make this thing run right again. You did not have to as these issues were not created by your doing. But you guys helped anyway so thank you very much for supporting me and your mods!

HI,Most people with our smaller turbos,as compared to the big boys, DONT need 5'' intercoolers BUT we do not know any details on Engines Guys build only that he has the smaller turbos as he said....
He has not gave his complete info for these results ,as most share when they post such things..Why??..
You should check my other dyno sheets on past threads for other HP
results or on signature,,The last comparison test was at just at 600 but it was around 88 degrees...
Funny on how some question others results/facts BUT then they wont give their own facts..

Likely larger intercoolers are for temperature stability on the road course.

No details? why so secretive?
