Dont have time to read all the posts but saying a 993 cab is a p.o.s. just because it doesnt have a lot of visual mods is just plain retarded....why get a porsche if you only care about visual mods?

Bigger tires and wheels are the only things that will make it a better car. Aluminum gauges etc will not do anything for you.

I like my Porsches....they arent POSs...

NO offence but the 360 is amazing. Looks and sound. I don't know if it is an everyday driver but certainly no POS. Wish I could have both.

However, thanks to my participation on this forum, I realize that it can be made tolerable by the addition of:

Larger wheels and tires
PSS9's
Aluminum gauges
Aluminum shifter and e-brake handle
Aluminum cupholder
Aftermarket Nav
Full 3M clear-bra
Up-graded stereo
2 coats of Pinnacle Souveran, and
various other minor mods.

All of which I have ordered today/will order tomorrow.

To think the poor sucker who previously owned this car thought it acceptable
Hey Jaime,
What wheels did you get? Are you planning on doing any performance mods? Clear front markers? What else are you ordering? Here is a pic of my 95 with 18x8.5 and 18x10 Factory sport designs. Sorry about the size of the pic, they are either too big to post or to small to see.

Your car is beautiful. I'm ordering either hollow spoke turbo's from the dealer or LM's from Peter today. I bought the Pilots yesterday in 18 size. Wife is strongly pushing the hollow spokes.

Getting clears. Ordered techart gauge faces, PSS9's, some of the aluminum stuff from those guys in Germany, bin to replace cassette tray, that cupholder thingy that attaches to the seat rail, aluminum shifter and e-brake handle. 3M clear bra goes on Monday. Quite frankly, I've never heard much about performance mods for the 993 - I'd love to have about 50 more horsies!

Jamie,

The owner of Servicemaster in Burlington has a 993. His name is Paul Hammond. PM me if you want his number to compare notes as he is modding his as well. Have a good day today.

You can chip it, do the sport airbox, mufflers, remove the cats (I did this and it gives my car a really distinct sound, as well as 50lbs weight savings back there) All these mods can get you at least half way to your 50 horsies if not more. Did you go 285's in the rear?
I have a set of the hollow spokes for the track...The LM's sure are nice.
Enjoy and make sure to post some pics of the progrees.
Later,
Luis
