just hit 100K today while going to pick up a new to me gti so i can give this work/racehorse a rest a couple days a week. i tried for 1.2 while hitting 100k on the odometer, but all things considered, and it was 95+ temps and there were people on the road so .9 will have to do actually, i was in a closed parking lot, and no animals were harmed taking the pic

a quick shoutout to all who have helped me here, and continue to enlighten me as to the wonders and idiosyncrasies of our cars. this place is awesome. now i can go get kicked out of a gti forum

oh yeah.. anyone considering a high mileage tt? go for it. ( so much for resale value ha )

What's the stock #'s and what to expect?

 

Depends on the model but the MKV is about 200hp and 204ft.lbs of torque stock. A stage 1 flash runs roughly 250hp and 280ft.lbs on 91 octane. If I remember well, you can set it for 91, 93 and 100 race gas. The higher octane settings allows for more boost/power.

Really brings this car alive and is plenty of power for fwd IMO.

It's a fun car. Very stiff chassis; The back wheel comes off the ground getting up driveways . It is lowered and handles very well. You have to push it pretty hard in order to be bothered by understeer.
