anyone running europipe with 700+rwhp

I am running a europipe 2 loud with cats and it seems too restrictive. I am considering the 75mm muffler, europipe without cats. I am looking at the one like Suman has. Any first hand info would be appreciated. thanks Greg

HI, But first I would think before anyone can give you help, they need to know your mods and if possible, the power level you are at??
I believe most members in the know would go to a different set-up at 700 HP,,Is that Wheel HP?

I don't think the mods are important, but built motor, blow thru protomotive system alpha 30/76 and yes I am talking RWHP

IDK what that exhaust has but if you are in Cali 700 whp will require minimum of 100 or even 104 octane at 1.5 bar... and you need a 3" straight thru exhaust( muffler with a straight thru core vs baffles like OEM)... been there done that many times.... now you may peak what you want but what will it do up on top?
just a thought...

My friend had that exhaust and went w/ some version BBi sold and he picked up around 35whp at around 630whp. You can call Betim and ask. It was on Thomas's car.

I am currently running the EP2 Loud exhaust and yes its restrictive.

I ran a Europipe loud w/ cat deletes up to the point where my car was making close the 750 rwhp (on C 16).

I absolutely loved the sound of that exhaust, but it was the restiction point on my set up. I eventually went w/ a full 3 inch (and larger injectors) and car picked up 50 rwhp.

I think your car had about 730rwhp max based on your 60-130.

Your best was 5.7x & I don't believe the changes you made after that brought it anywhere close to 800whp.

Ben Moore's car did about the same 60-130 at approx 650-670 whp & his TT was probably heavier.

Your Turbos were the old school Garret 30's & I honestly am not sure what there proven capability is.

Your car was never dynoed except at TX2K at 599whp,not sure if that was a fluke or not.

The 800whp is just your guess. I know you keep saying that Akram & Todd guesstimated 800 but thats what it was a guess, because we both know how much guesstimate's can be off.

I am not busting your chops just trying to get the story straight.

the exhaust was my first mod, 2 years later I did the rest. once I saw the quality and sound of the europipe exhaust all others were less than to me.

whatever it is make sure they are mufflers not baffles... and are they 3" In and out? all around? what about the tip? that alone can take 30whp.. seen it happen when someone took off a OEM tip... thats 2.1" ID... very restrictive...
ask the hard questions before you buy anything... there's a lot of mis information... and just so you know it is hard to keep that 3" ID exhaust quiet.. thats why I use 4 mufflers... all 3" ID( or a combo of 3" and 2.5"... or even 6 cans if I have too... some products out there will give you the performance but also will sound like old Russian tractors.. so be careful...
good luck,
markski
