Took the power plunge: Alpha 76's

Lets suppose the OP gets bored, builds the motor and wants to max out these A3076s What are these turbines capable of? 900?1000+whp? Id love to see some graphs.
Whats taking so long Lennon996?

unfortunately the Alpha3076 will not take you that high - even on good gas. the limitations of the small hotside and the internal wastegates they come with will really come into play.
from my research the highest acceptable to me for comparison dyno ( Dynojet ) not hub or dynopack sheet that I have seen on a 996tt was 850-860rwhp on a built 3.8L car using C16. my personal experience with Alpha3076s ended up at 2.0Bar and 800whp on a 3.6L stock piston motor using E85. C16 might have given me another 25-30whp, but that wasnt my fuel of choice at 15$ /gal wholesale cost.
overall i thought they were beautiful. fit perfectly in stock location. i installed them in my driveway
most common false statement floating around is that they are Laggy - which they are not. i have dynos overlayed of them vs stock K16 and K24 cars and they do not lose out anywhere on a car with proper supporting mods.

I think this will be more than sufficient.

+1 Mark. Great turbo's for about 900ish crank. Lennon I think you know, and Tony will prob tell you, the more you go north of 700rwhp...The more you are in ~ ~ territory on a stock motor.
Have fun!

Fun will most certainly be had! My goal is to keep the stock motor together and intact so leaving some power and tq on the table when tuning is not really a big concern. Again, I'm not trying to set new records, you guys have done it all already, I just want some more powwwaaaaa
