First time Porsche owner.. :)
I have been a Porsche fan since I was a kid. In fact the only poster I ever even had on my wall was a 911 Turbo that I cut out of a car magazine (would have been a 964 at that time). I used to go to sleep dreaming that when I wake up the car would miraculously be in the driveway. lol
I have had a few sports cars over the years but this summer I (by "I" I mean my wife) decided the time was right for me to get a car I have always lusted for. I was looking at 993 Turbos and 996 Turbos. I ended up finding a low miles 996 and fell in love with it.
2003 996 TT
60,000 kms (37,300 miles)
Slate Grey Metallic
20" VIP Modular Wheels
Rennline Race pedals
Rennline Floor Pan
The only things I plan on doing is exhaust and a tune since it is my summer daily driver. I have put 6k miles on it this summer and so far I really enjoy the car.

Thanks guys!
Split crankcase? What is the advantage to that? I did a quick google search and I only see that the GT3 had it but they don't say the 996 TT had it or what the advantage of it is.

That is an awesome first Porsche, you will really enjoy the 996 TT. I love those wheels they really add some flare, I would also suggest doing the Euro Side Markers, especially on a darker colored car. Enjoy and glad you finally got that car you have always dreamed about sitting in your driveway.

I don't intend to sound like a Volkswagen enthusiast, but you should consider some sport springs or coilovers for your car! Lowering your car an inch or so would really make it look 100%, and brings with it the additional benefits of improved center of gravity and cornering ability.
