Limp mode problem...

Limp mode problem...
I did some searching.. and haven't found a solid answer.. so im hoping one of ya'll can help out.
I just picked up this Porsche. Its Bmoores old car. Here's the mod list...
K24/20G Turbos modified by Blouch Turbo
Protomotive Intake, Plenum, and Hard Piping
Protomotive Intercoolers
Second intank Fuel Pump
60 lb Injectors
Fabspeed MaxFlo Exhaust (gutted cats)
Ported and Coated Factory Headers
HKS EVC Boost Controller
Brockway 1000 onboard computer
Looks like a Ford Maf.
Driving down the Freeway and the car went into limp. Just cruising in 6th at about 80. Of course i couldn't rev it at all..
Pulled over.. she fired back up and ran fine. Sometimes it would be a bit stuttery and the A/F's would lean out during those stutters.
Later in the day she did the same thing. This time it through a ABS code with it. After i shut it down and refired it was good.
I went to the shop and made some metal hoses. One to plug one intake and one with a nipple to test for any leaks. There are no leaks. It held the pressure perfectly.
So would this sound like a Maf, Throttle body,.. or a ECU issue? Thanks for the help.. At least it could have let me drive a couple weeks before an issue popped up!!!

how can you say car is in limp mode of your driving in 6th gear?
check your fuel pressure... whats the code?
where did you do the pressure test from exactly and to what psi?

I don't know if the right word is "limp mode"... But the throttle just quit at 80. The car was still on radio and everything... But I tried to give the throttle input and there was nothing
For testing the boost leaks I blocked off one inlet and the other made a pipe with a nipple. Blew compressed air through the system showing 8 psi on the boost controller. The pressure held nicely. No signs of leaks anywhere.
It happened twice yesterday.

Well then whatever ur describing could be anything. If u can't I can't pinpoint it.
8psi I can blow thru a plastic straw. 25 psi need to hold. For 30 seconds. From the turbos. Or lower Intercooler hose. And u don't keep putting air in. U put 25 psi disconnect the hose. Put a gauge on it and see how fast it goes down. Look hear for leaks. U really need someone that knows the blow thru systems.

I'm new to Porsche but I would be looking at the throttle body and the wiring going to it. If a drive by wire throttle body isn't functioning properly then neither will traction control. That might throw an ABS code.

sounds like it may be a crapped out ford maf if you thre an ABS code. mike pressure tested my car with me so he knows how. could also be TB or even coilpacks if you are stuttering.

Thanks guys...
I'll start with a new MAF.
The wiring on the throttle body looks good. So I'll start with the Maf and take it from there.
Prodigy...
Yeah Mikey and myself ran the pressure tester. It held the boost perfectly.
Mikey was saying something about the ECU possibly... But like I said... I'll replace the Maf first.
Thanks again.

let me get this straight . as you were cruising the car just last power and wouldnt rev , even when u pressed the accelarator .
so when you pulled over as the car idled it was irratic, then when you shut it off and restarted it was good to go ?
cuase same exact thing happened to me this morning .... and i was in the fast lane cruising with a tractor trailor next to me and it just cut off (hitting the gas but wasnt accelerating, it was just slowing down), traffic was crazy couldnt get over to the shoulder to my left, and everone was riding my a$$ ...
finally pulled over , car was idling erratic shut it off then restarted and was fine....
i have a blow though with a ford MAF....

more like the wires but be careful changing them... disconnect the battery b4 you touch anything... you will fry your ecu if not...
