Check out BBI coils (Plasma Direct). They are guaranteed for life. They cost the same as about 3 sets of normal coils, but you will immediately feel an increase in smoothness and stability in the engine. Well worth the extra bucks.

quick story about OEM parts (coils) and who you buy from. they all carry 1 year warranty, however who will honor it is the answer.
i bought Beru coils from PelicanParts.com and 4 months later one or more went bad. since the job is somewhat labour intensive Pelican gave me 6 new coils under warranty.
i bought a 75mm Bosch TB which also carries 1 yr warranty from KO Performance and it started acting up 6 months into ownership. They gave me a runaround and would not do anything even though its not coming out of their pocket.
since then i use pelicanparts for just about everything i can, they ship fast. have 3$ 3 day shipping and awesome customer service. i have also dealtt with Suncoast and Sonnen and both were very good to me.

Sunset porsche makes 15% over their cost. It is by far the cheapest place to buy OEM parts I have seen. I normally talk with Bob McCarthy. BobMcCarthy@sunsetimports.com
I always quote around but seems like Sunset always end up the cheapest.
Bob just quoted me $49.22 each for OEM factory coil packs. Not too sure but ECS has some inexpensive brand name coil packs as well. This might be a part like the 02 sensors where you can buy a Bosch part and it actually has the Porsche part # on there.

I haven't ever tried the Evoms coils yet, so I couldn't tell you about them. There shouldn't be any difference in quality between the Bosch and Beru coil packs, both are German-made and suppliers to Porsche.
