Makes for interesting reading. The Murci's weight clearly penalizes it on the track, but with the security of AWD, I would think the average to above-average driver would get closer to the edge of the envelope in aMurci than (s)he would dare in a CGT or Enzo.

Straight line, there's not a whole bunch in it between the CGT and Enzo, the difference being plausibly close to what you might expect between F1 and manual shifting (1/10th per change through 4 of 5 shifts). It appears that the CGT and Enzo are pretty similar in aero (with perhaps a nod to the CGT, as it gets the better lap time with less accelerative ability).

Maybe makes you wonder if the Italian ponies are slighlty smaller than the German ones. I don't suppose anyone's dynoed them back to back.

Does rather make the Murci look like the performance bargain of the year, though

The Murci is also an Egear, and i was somewhat suprised by its slower mph in the 1/4, apprx 120mph. Most put it a few mph faster.

Anyways, there is no doubt the other 2 cars are faster and more track oriented, but as ive said before, with dollars compared, the murci is a bargain. I also hear the new 06 will have 50hp more.

interesting number on the CGT. factory tested 0-200km in 9.9 second & the Enzo was a little ahead.

Sorry to say but... Those times are BS dude, someone needs to learn how to drive... CGT does 0-100 in 4.04sec?? Yeaaaa, riiiight.

Porsche is super modest and they give it 3.9sec 0-60.

No the difference this is what happens when the cars are tested properly.

There is a big difference between factory "times" and real world times.

Porsche's times are very modest though and every car magazine says it... Although it depends on the driver. Car and driver got 3.5sec. 0-60 with the CGT and 3.3sec. with the Enzo... Both cars got 11.2sec. 1/4mile with trap speeds 132 and 136mph. These are real world times... Considering I saw another magazine get 3.0sec. 0-60 with the Enzo and 3.3sec. with the CGT.

No, it's contingent upon the drivers ability to exert massive amounts of force on the brake lever. We’ve been over this.
