factory chin spoiler?
#4
The best thing to do is have it painted and then put some clear film over it. Mine has been OK for a few years with numerous minor scrapes. It's beginning to look like the spare, unpainted lip I bought 2 years ago and is hanging in my shed was some insurance that will go to waste. If anybody's interested ...

I've painted all bottom trims (4 sides) in matching polar. The problem is that valet guys always manage to phukk up the chinspoiler. The scrapes I'm ok with but its when they actually hit a concrete block or HEAVILY scrape the ground that the paint cracks due to the flexibility of the plastic. This might look a bit unsightly. Solution is to have a few extra painted spoilers that one rotates. Ive got three that I switch out every few months. When one is in bad shape I take it to my guy to have it refinished and repainted. Eventually I figure Ill have to throw it out due to too much ware. Besides the time and hassle it takes to change the spoilers it also gets expensive. On the other hand the car looks great. Me personally, I can't stand two tone cars.
