Now have my new car

Finally I have the Cosworth
1992 Homologation Special.
There will be some more modding to do but next year. got to get my breathing sorted first then its back to big power.

It already has 386mm AP 6 pots on the front. AP 330mm on the rear. Gax Gold coilovers all round. Pro alloy IC, Rad, Turbo Cooler, swirl pots, expansion tank , in fact all the rads and tanks are pro-alloy.
19" Superleggera's and full leather interior.

At the moment she has 340 bhp and weights about 1300 kg. If all goes well with me next year Harvey Gibbs will be building me a 540 bhp engine on a T4 Turbo. Thats 415bhp/tonne so will be quite quick. Compared to my last Tip 996tt with 650 bhp at about 1600 kg that's 406 bhp/tonne. So it should pull some similar 60-130's and 0-100 times, although top end is only 187 due to gearing and the brick shaped aerodynamics.not sure if I'm doing it yet....will see how i am next year although the budget is in place if I do.

Frank, that looks lovely
What are your future plans?

Can I suggest removing the graphics (sun visor, strut brace)

My brother has always wanted an Escort
I think I told you he's got a VW T5 at the moment

Can't decide what to do when my GT6 is finished
I had a Clio Williams many years ago, I can't decide whether to get another one of those, or go for something else

I'd love to see more pictures of the Escort

Hi Ant, really good to hear from you.
Yes eventually all the decals etc will go. I'm waiting on a New heated windscreen so its a waste of time removing them.
How is the Porka, whats the latest with it and how have You been keeping.

Back in early 90's when I was in Republic Of Ireland and was young and struggling, I always lusted after three cars, one was this this Ford Cosworth, and the other two being Lancia Delta Integrale and the Peugeot GTI (spelling/) ...

Lovely car and enjoy in good health.

On a side note: I am indeed warming upto importing one of these cars to state hopefully in near future

Thanks guys.
I was going to go for 650 bhp but the cams would have made it undriveable on the public roads. So the 540 bhp set up should be a good compromise.
Plus I relly dont know what next year will bring with my health. Will see.
