not disagreeing Tim, I said that external Wg 30rs are stronger and I prefer them as well but tials are nice for those who don't want to mess with the other stuff like custom headers, lines, and exhaust, etc... not sure what's the problem...

If a company wants to sell a product, and wants to take peoples money off them, surely they should be forthcoming and transparent when it comes to answering peoples questions

If I ask about a product I expect an answer, not some **** like "We do not make that info public"

If they don't answer my questions, they don't get my business


Could you imagine if I called a company about an exhaust and asked if it came with 100 cell or 200 cell cats, and they said they won't tell me because they "Do not make that info public"


Seriously, Does this type of answer fly in all walks of life?

If I really wanted to know the "secret" of the Tial turbos I'd just get a set and measure them

As far as I'm concerned you're a straight up, honest, and decent guy, that helps out and provides far more information than anyone could ever ask for.......I think others could learn a great deal from you

 

Tial products are known to be targeted by Chinese copy cats. At one point eBay was flooded with fake tial BoVs and Wastegates. Why make it easier for someone who did no research and no R&D to copy your stuff.

I've seen all the threads and reviews, and I know Tial makes badass products that work extremely well

But when someone is spending $$$$$ and asks what am I getting, only to be told "we don't make that info public" there's something seriously wrong

You could call any other turbo company and they'd tell you the exact specs of all their products

I don't see some Chinese dude making knock-offs as something to be concerned about - especially as getting the info is as simple as measuring the dimensions

 

I am sorry to say that they didnt reply to my inquiries on those $$$$$ turbos until I caught them on here??

 

PTE does not give you specs either but they will tell you pounds per minute and A/R's

 

My advice is not to hang out on 6speed...you will be totally affected by the upgrade bug....I have spent more than $350K on cars since my join date.

Having said that, you absolutely do need a new exhaust. What are the other mods on you car, you need a full blow through, IC's etc. to get the most out of your turbos.

I had a Europipe loud w/ cats removed and I absolutely loved how my car sounded. Unfortunately, that exhaust was a 2.76 incher and was the restriction point on my car.

Having said that, I eventually went with the full 3 inch set up by BBI. I did not dyno, but my seat of the pants dyno said I picked up a significant amount of HP, and the car breathed better (IE spooled faster, made more power down low, etc.)

Thanks for all the input on the exhaust issue, this is a great forum and you learn so much, its great to see all this enthusiasm about clearly the best car in the word ...lol As for Marski he's a machine i'm sure there will be more questions that I will post, as I am from South Africa and there is nobody here that can help me with these sort of mods so please bare with me.....lol

HAD ME add all these supporting mods on ,, now I want to help those mods with swapping my K24/18gs for 3071s...LOL......Then I will be done for sure,,,,,REALLY...
