996tt Single Turbo Conversion
Hey guys,
have been trying to find as much info as i can on single turbo setups for the 996tt but i am not really getting anywhere yet.
Has anyone done this or know of any one/workshop that has?

With as much power as can be made with twins, and how little room there is in there to really shift stuff around...and that the turbos really kinda just hang off the bottom of the car... I don't know why anyone would do it?

The vivid carera kit looks very interesting!
Like what Tim has said, I believe that one larger turbo will generally be more efficient than two turbo's, obviously on the flip side two smaller turbos should spool a bit faster. Although with todays technology, i doubt that lag would be that much different.
If im correct, two turbos rated at 500hp will spool a bit faster and have a more linear power curve, but one 1000hp turbo will be more efficient and see more power to the ground.
Also, I think it would be a really interesting project to do.
