The yellow RUF had an ingenious air intake system. The top wing had a forward facing grille which was used for engine air intake. The lower wing blade had a forward facing grille as well but that one was used for the two intercoolers. The grille would collect air and route it through the lower wing "hoop" to an IC on each side of the engine in the rear quarter panels. Very, very cool.
There were actually two GT1's there. I had pics of both, however, for some reason, some of my pics came out dark. Actually, I accidentally pressed the exposure compensation button and didn't know it. OOPS!

Nice pictures, thanks for sharing. Some of the really exotic big guns of all time were there as expected. The CGT owner must be a real wheeler-dealer type to have that baby registered in Alaska. You probably can buy a property for $100 there and register a car(s) to it and save thousands on insurance. For fun one of us should do a quote on www.progressivedirect.com for our car using an Alaskan address if anyone lives/knows someone there.
