Yea I've asked the previous owner to weigh in so we know what's what. The bumper cover looks OEM and is in really good shape, and is urethane, not fiberglass... This IS a smoking deal for $4K and I'm offering to do the whole install complete for $1000. I figure with paint/finish, you're looking at about $5500-6000 to have a color-matched proper fitting, finctional GT2 front bumper/cooling/ducting. Or do it yourself and save the $1000 instal.

Gang this front bumper is absolutely OEM.. It has the numbers cast into it. Unfortunately some of the numbers have been covered by the bodywork someone employed to cover the license plate mount holes... I'll have to post them later, but this is absolutely an OEM cover. It was previously owned by another member "Boostin" here...

The way it's cut out allows for the little airflow tray underneath to remain on the bottom of the car whereas it would have to be removed if it wasn't cut. The OEM bumper I've been working on has a different shape than the one in the picture. IDK maybe they made more than one shape? As long as the center radiator and ducting is changed over I doubt if it's an issue at all. Take a look at the pictures of the bumper I have placed next to the TT bumper. I also elected to cut mine to match the Turbo bumper and retain the airflow underneath the car by keeping the Turbo ducting from the radiator to the center inlet the same routing.

I have no skin with this...I so I just check my own factory GT2 set up ( ya lay on the ground to check)
Mine looks like the one Mike is selling - the top cover vs the bottom one.
I hope this helps some one.

I have no skin in it either and certainly wasn't casting any aspersions on Mike as I hope he knows. The part # on the GT2 bumper I have is 996 505 311 30 G2X which by the way is $3,719 on the Sonnen site! Maybe Porsche made a change somewhere along the lines to the underside of the bumper, IDK. To me it makes sense to have the underside fully covered and blocked off for smoother airflow underneath the car if the center radiator ducting is flowing air up and out through the upper center grill while it also makes sense to have it opened up like Mike's customer's, and mine after cutting, to allow the center radiator ducting to flow air through the bottom of the car as the Turbo is designed.

0396 is your oem bumper on a GT2 straight from the factory or has it been installed on a Turbo? It'd be interesting to determine if the factory made changes somewhere along the lines.

My 03 GT2 was spec order in August of 2003. All "factory ". Once I heard of this potential car, I placed a deposit on potential of having the ability to order 1 of 2 2003 GT2 allocations from PCNA. Mine is the 2nd one...oh ya I waited almost two years for the allocation to come through. OEM...sure is

I've confirmed through at least two different sources that the front bumper supplier changed during the production run from 2002-2005. What I have for sale (Selling for the gentleman from South Carolina) is an OEM GT2 front bumper.

This is such a good deal. $6K all in for a full front conversion just doesn't happen. I'm thinking it over. And with Mike doing it will be done right, guaranteed.
