I had heard mention that the powerglide equipped cars would not be allowed at the TI events anymore. Any truth in that? Seems like the LMR Vette is gone and possibly a Viper from Vegas didn't show either which I believe was a powerglide car. I wasn't sure if that's the reason or that's incorrect info.

Thanks to Amar for hosting a great event!!! Hats off to Eddie he really is the champ, for him to run those lambo's back to back (the fastest) is just amazing! Well done. As for me my best pass was 152 @ 20 lb after we cranked it up the manifold kept popping off...it blows!! Always next year.

I wish we could meet quarterly instead of two times a year. Additionally, have an extra day or two for class events. Half day for p cars, vettes, vipers, GTR and lambos?? Then Sunday just manuels class and auto class then those two cars race for KOTS?
Thx Amar for helping me make it to this year event.

Congrats to Tag and Bill for winning the KOTS and congrats to Eddie for winning the 6 speed challenge. That was an intense race for sure.
It was great meeting you guys Joe, Jared, Tommy and Eddie. Thanks for coming down.
I assure you guys Tag gave it his all and being there at the starting line he did miss 4th BUT a win is a win. Eddie's fastest trap was 187ish and Tags 192. Both cars are beasts and that Porsche ROLLS OUT!!!!
lol it faded into the distance quick!
Also was great seeing Dr. Rob behind the wheel agian!!
Everyone stepped it up this year and can't wait till the next one.

Rumor has it that the 192 mph run was a solo pass and was started well prior to the actual start line which is why he had that mph, if so you can throw that number out. Completely invalid number, so what was his mph during the actual racing? Please confirm this someone. I don't want to give false info here, just what I heard from some racers.

To give an idea of how deceiving trap speeds are - when Bello broke he trapped 149, the TTSL he was racing trapped 186 ish and lost. BHT and I both had very good runs against UGR but the speed at the end is what got us - and right at the end. They make monster power - especially up top. I believe that an early green light could easily add 4-5 MPH to a run.

There was about 20' of "dead" area before you started rolling, then another distance before you got to the start zone. It looked like the run started at the very beginning of the flags or earlier. Regardless Bill's car was pulling hard all day, and I mean puuuulling. I believe Helms trapped 190 flat in his black SL, which was also a solo run.

Thanks for clarifying that.
