New project with ap racing

Just a little something I thought you guys might be interested in. As there aren't many options out there as far as brake upgrades. I needed something after cracking 2 sets of stock rotors on fast road driving, not even track!! So i just went all out, contacted a big European distributor for AP Racing here in the UK who also happens to be a machinist/engineer/metal work type guy.

So far we have this......
370x36mm fully floating 2 piece discs AP Racing CP5555 6piston calipers

The Next stage is for me to send him my front hub and a wheel for bell measurements and final CAD design. Then they will be mine to fit and TEST!

I've cracked the slotted floating 350mm front rotors on my car with hard track use. As a result I just had my car retrofitted with the 997.2TT OEM PCCB 6 pot calipers and 380mm steel floating front rotors and rear OEM PCCB 4 pot calipers and 350mm steel floating rear rotors. I'm also getting ready to have the brake master swapped to the 997TT/GT3 unit in the next couple of weeks. The 380mm rotors/calipers just barely fit with about 1/4" to spare with my 18" CCW C10 wheels. They will not clear OEM 18" wheels. All the parts are a direct bolt so it's a no brainer. Just something to consider instead of the aftermarket route...
