Can anyone tell what the HP/TQ is on a 2001 911 Turbo with a EvoMS GT700? Looking on their site, I can't really tell but I am assuming it is 700 hp. There is someone selling one locally that looks like a pretty sweet deal. The seller only has had the car for about a year and isn't sure himself.

 

Go drive it, if it scares the S**t out of you, its got 700hp.

Sharkwerks claims that kit makes 700hp... Wheel or flywheel, who knows! Even if it is flywheel, thats still a ton ton ton of power.

interesting, sharkwerks kit says 700hp, but the sachs stage 2 is only good for 650. that has to be whp!..? most never advertise WHP..

 

That kit doesnt use external wastegates so I'm pretty sure thats 700 hp. Also it doesn't come with bigger race intercoolers.. Im pretty sure the stock intercoolers can't handle 700 wheel.

 

Thats what i was thinking, but 700hp crank is wicked fast. mines north of 600 and its scary fast!

I think most don't realize how fast 600 hp really is and where/when they will use it.. the very last thing I'll do, is add a boost controller to lower the boost.. 3rd gear with my HP, pulls so hard from 6-7250 rpm, i see 115-119 mph. fast.. i look forward to having both ends of the spectrum..

and no car should double the HP without addressing the suspension.. I'd do it the other way if i knew what i feel now!

i would be wary of shop claims. mine was purchased with the gmg stage2+ build quoted as 650 hp. i had mine dyno'd and saw 490 rwhp no were near 650 crank. not even close

 

Ugh, I have to stop reading this board. I havnt even installed my tune and exhaust yet and am already thinking I want more than the 500hp those mods will give me.

 

These cars handle the power very well, 600hp really doesn't feel scary fast or out of control in these cars (at least to some).

With the right parts high horsepower is attainable in a civilized manor without feeling out of control or like your overstepping any boundaries.

 

I also have the GMG kit and IIRC it was 489 whp on Evoms dyno! It did however put out 605 torque at the crank!
