Stripped Exhaust Manifold Bolt

When under my car I saw one of the exhaust manifold bolts half way out. After using my ratchet to put it back in it became evident that some idiot over torqued the bolt and now it is stripped. I removed the bolt and it appears to be fine so unfortunately the threads are probably gone on the block. I looked up the bolt (Part number 900 378 227 09) and it is a Hex Head M8 x 28. I was wondering how long the threads are in the block and can I simply buy an M8 x 32 (or other length M8 x 35?) and just use that. All the other 8 bolts are nice and tight.

Also what is the difference between 90037822709 and 99907507100, they both appear to be Hex bolts M8x28, the only difference I see being the first one is $6 and is designated for the turbo and the second being $2 and being designated for the non turbo. Is this just a turbo tax or is there a difference?

Helicoil

I can get you the thread depth when I get home, my car is apart at the moment.
I recommend using a helicoil insert. They are very easy to use and better than a normal threaded hole. I use them all the time if the thread is looking questionable.
Operation is easy with the kit. Use the drill in the kit, then the tap, next insert the coiled wire. Good as new.
The header should be off for this.

The thread is deeper then the bolt reaches. I would go with a stud first that reaches deeper then the bolt. That bolt should be torqued to 23ft lbs. The difference is the grade of the bolt and the martial.

Any idea what length bolt I should use? Specific part number to keep the same grade and material? If not, and I just go to an auto parts store what type of bolt should I look for?

Here is the info on the thread depth.

bolt length: 28mm
flange thickness: 12mm
thread depth average 18.5 +/-0.2

there is only 2.5mm remaining.

Would it be fair to saw I can use 30mm bolts with my fvd headers? As far as exhaust manifold bolts.
