My 3480 lbs was measured on four pad racing scales.
I weighed it on the full-car scale at Silver Dollar Raceway in Reynolds, GA (1/4 mile track).

I have videos of me beating up on a WRX, an EVO, and a Eagle Talon turbo as well as many others at the 1/4 mile track.

Why close the thread, you ask? Here is why: This thread is about bench racing and nothing more. Couple that with the fact that the same thread has been posted on Supraforums as well. It would appear to all of us (as posted in this thread already) that you are trying to start something between the two boards (perhaps not, but you never know). This is more of an "off-topic" thread as it (I'll say it again) is nothing more than ricer bench racing. Most people on this forum do not care how well they do against a Supra turbo in a straight line. Porsches are made for real road courses, not 1/4 mile tracks. If we wanted 1/4 mile times, we would all buy muscle cars and run drag radials. The average age on this board (of active members) is closer to early 30s - mid 40s, not 18 yrs old (your current age). Our mentality is one of more maturity and not about running at felony speeds on the interstate in an attempt to "one up" someone else's import car. We don't really care about racing cars from a roll/stop/etc. Track racing is where it is at for a 911 turbo and your thread is indicative of drag racing.

Does that make sense?

I'll venture an edu-ma-cated guess and say that the one that wins this bench race is the one that crosses the imaginary finish line first in one's head first...

C'mon, there is no answer to this question... two many dif scenarios of gearing, starting gear, driver, torque curve, boost curve, speed, etc... realize that 700hp rating tells you peak hp, and nothing more. It'd be a close race, but it'd be anyone's GUESS, and could sway either way depending on any of those aforementioned variables. There's your answer...

great answer man..

thats coming from to4r powered former mk4 supra owner

i agree .. too much variables.. and usually thos high hp supras are very very laggy.... 700hp peak hp is correct

the one thing i do liek about the big turboed supras is eth necj sanpping force/power when the turbo kicks in..

the 996 turbo is a bit too smooth imho... u dont feel the power kicking in,, its more like smooth clean delivery continous power from begining to red line...
