996 PCCB fit 997?

Hello fellers,

I currently have a 996TT with PCCB, I may purchase a 997 soon and want to know if I can just swap the brakes?

Thanks in advance,
Jayson

Don't be shy, ill accept the correct answer from anyone, I'm not picky.

Non pccb 997tt. Yes. 997tt with pccb no. The 997 pccb are way better, I would just buy a 997 with them already. Save the labor time/spent on something else.

I do most of my own work, so the labor isn't an issue. The 997 I am looking at has normal brakes, so if I am reading your answer correctly I CAN swap them from my 996 correct? I just couldn't if the 997 already had pccb? I'm guessing the 997 PCCB has a bigger caliper and requires a larger mount?

I have 997tt PCCB 380mm brakes on my RTurbo 996tt. I run 380 floating rotors instead off the ceramics however. The smaller 996tt PCCBs will bolt up to the 997tt.

Tim, the 996tt PCCBs will bolt up to the 997tt regardless whether it has PCCB or not. The hubs are the same on both the 997tt with the smaller steel or larger PCCB brakes. I run the 997 PCCB brakes on my car.
