Idk never compared them back to back and probably never will. U can't. Different cars different mods even if u could u could not deduce anything realistic. John, you need a bigger turbo, at least the bigger wheel or a 3071 to feel the difference. I drove ur car.

John put some race gas in the car & quit goofing around with pump crap gas. Then you will feel the real power of the bigger turbos & make it a lot more safe for the motor.

the truth is that most of the k24 based turbos are very close to each other.. some a little better but most of you will never even notice... you guys are wasting time... its the installation, WG adjustment, and leak free set up that really matters... last 3 cars that showed up at the shop with various turbos inc. A28s ran like a k16/16G at 1.1 bar... WHy? because of other issues which were unrelated to this turbo or that turbo... whats the point of spending al this money if your car runs like crap... do a boost leak first... you will thank me later...
good luck to all...
ps. ever wonder how Randy with k16billets ran a 5.86 60to 130? basic k16 billets without any MAGIC?

I've owned 8 Porsches. I took a 8 year sabbatical and purchased a 996
turbo in April of last year. I've learned some expensive lessons over
the last 11 months!

I learned that turbo size and specs are smoke and mirrors without a
harmonious supporting cast lol. I learned that shaving some weight,
especially rotating mass, wakes these cars up! I learned that boost
leaks are not our friend and boy o boy, we have boost leaks even
when we don't know it. I learned that many of the so called experts
aren't experts at all, but rather they are clever marketers.

Speaking of cheap k16 billets running 5.87.......what did Switzers
P700 run? Switzer advertised a 700 hp k16 billet package. Surely
it should oust my record. I'm currently looking for 1/4 mile and
60-130 times on this setup.
