03 Bose Single Cd replacement options

Hey fellas,
without doing an overhaul and installing a double din, relocating controls, etc. Car is an 03 with bose sub, just want to install something for my ipod (bluetooth or direct), not opposed to ANY single din replacement.

Is there anything out there these days thats truly plug and play?

cheers.

navalarch is infamous around these parts
Mine's an easy solution but not elegant. Using the Motorola T505. Connects via Bluetooth and transmits via FM. It streams music and audio quality is OK. I use it mainly to listen to podcasts so I'm not too worried about audio quality.

These guys sell a double din stereo kit that works on 03+ (MOST fiber optic stereo cars) 996. They say there is a write on up Renntech how to wire around the MOST system, haven't been able to find it myself however...

Maybe worth asking these guys for a single din kit.. You can also see some of the parts here you'll need. Honestly moving the controls around is a piece of cake and you can get some pretty sweet double din decks.

You can buy an aux-in cable that plugs into the back of the headunit. Cheap and easy. I believe you need to have the CDR-220 (if I remember the number well).

I'll see if I can find it. I have the link somewhere. I have the same system on my BMW and Merc and it works great! Quality is the same as cars that come with an aux in already.

Becker makes ipod/iphone cables that plug into the cd changers jack in the back of the head unit. I bought the cable for the CD/CDR220 deck and it works good for my iphone, here is the link.
