We are going to hit it early in the AM. I'll be happy with 225. I'm not interested in pushing it any more after the big crash today.

Bise (LMR Camaro) barrel rolled, crossed 1 mile trap flipping at 200. Driver broke both legs and has facial burns and injuries. He was lifefllighted to Corpus. Nothing left but the cage.

Wow that's a serious crash!! I'm sure it has made many drivers rethink pushing the limits. Hope he recovers quickly.

What a weekend. Tons of fun and all the Pcar guys got out safely and the cars are running well. The three silver 996's all ran over 200mph.

I had 7 total runs as I ramped up the boost:

Day one:
188mph (tires we over inflated and the car walked all over the place at 160ish)
206mph
209mph

Day two:
217mph
221mph
221mph

Day Three:
225.9mph

My best half mile speed was 184mph

I had to pedal it thru half the gears but she finally hooked up and took off.

The car ran flawlessly all weekend due to the meticulous preparation of Steve Ott and crew at Drivers Source. Stacy Barnett and I switched tires on Sunday morning to see if he could do better with a taller tire but they rubbed and he couldn't make a good run with them.

On the other hand, I went 3mph faster with his R888 30 series tires.

We met TimNYC and Mark (prodigy) and hung out for a while. Good guys.





I used Stacy's wheels and tires for the 225.9 run.

Glad everyone made it through the weekend healthy and happy. I hope the Camaro guy will be OK too.
