Announcement: Shark Werks, Bay Area's Evolution Motorsports & GIAC Dealer Plus Pix..
Ok so the cat's outta the bag or the shark's in the water if you prefer. I've been holding off for a while until things were in place but I'm pleased to announce that our new shop, Shark Werks www.sharkwerks.com is now up and running and by the same token are really happy to be supporters of you folks on 6speedonline (cheers DJzzz!). We will be taking our experience in owning 996TT's/996s and specializing only on 996/997s. It's mostly because of the local Bay Area Porsche owners that we're doing this and so we thank you for your support and encouragement. The same goes for some very well known folks in the industry that have been very kind with advice, words of encouragement and support- like Todd, Mike, Stephen (the doc), Kevin, Arling, Alan, Nate, Phoebe, Chris etc... and many more guys. I've gotten to know many of you Bay Area guys/gals over the past 3-4 years especially locally on drives and other Porsche events and more recently from Akkurat. Although we left three months ago, I'm happy to say that those of you that came for Evolution Motorsports and GIAC tuning and upgrades can continue to do so at our new home in Fremont, right off of the 880 and the Automall Exit. Our site is being done up as I type but for now we have www.sharkwerks.com up and running and all comments/feedback is most welcome. Hopefully see you folks as much as before, even if I'm going to be knee deep in suspension, brakes, turbos, intakes etc... and burning the midnight oil.
Anyways enough babbling for now, normal service is resumed:P I'm going to get back to figuring out what it'll take to make this heavy pig of a 996TT run better than 10s. Todd @ EVO has some fun stuff planned for the car so we shall see.... We were actually out there a couple of weeks ago (thanks guys and gal) doing a shoot on my car and Todd's (and a guest appearance by mana!) so I'll show you some pix we took that are NOT being used.
Thanks for listening and putting up with me drag racing the 996TT!

Alex, All the best with your new business venture, starting a new business is not easy and it will be very trying at times, however I know as well as everyone here on this forum that you are very passionate about Porsche's, saying this I know you will succeed and I am sure you will be an exceptional ambassador to GIAC & EVO.
