Another MAF thread, PSM/ABS Goodness...

I've searched and searched. I seem to have a weird scenario..

Car idling after driving a few minutes..

PSM/ABS light on, Car bogs and idle fluctuates. (Sometimes stalling because it idles to low)

Turn off car and back on (PSM/ABS light leave momentarily) and come back on after a few minutes.

The test I have done:

Cleaned MAF. No difference.
Paper Air Filter. No difference

Did this Basic MAF test:
http://www.renntech.org/forums/index...af-basic-test/

The reading numbers are correct according to that post (working MAF).

Here is the tricky part: When the lights are on and the idle is fluctuating, IF I UNPLUG THE MAF, The idle is smooth again. No more hiccups.

I don't understand what that last part means?? HELP...

The car starts up fine.

Am I looking for voltage from the battery or alternator? Also what test can I do to check and what numbers should I be at?

Am I ruling out the MAF?..

I had a misfire code about a month ago that went on during heavy boost. Does anyone think I need new coil/plugs that could be causing this problem?

I would not rule out the MAF. If you are near someone with a 996TT, borrow their MAF and see what happens.

The battery should be a solid 12v . The alternator should put out out 14.2. If you haven't put new coils on yet it is time.

Here it is, the codes from Durametrics:

9114 PCM Control Unit (Does not leave after erasing faults)
9150 Spoiler Control
1657 Accelerator Pedal Movement (Does not leave after erasing faults)
5525 Incorrect Data Transfer
5525 Torque Transfer Disturbed at Times.

Now lets get some insight? Anyone...? Not making a whole lot of sense to me. Alternator reading at 12.9-13.2 Vs, New MAF. Paper Filter.

If you could please provide the Porsche codes...they are reported by durametric on the first line and start with the letter P. Then I can look them up.

The codes you are posting are not Porsche codes. Look at the pic I attached.

The standardised codes are subdivided as follows:

P0001 to P0299 Fuel and air proportioning
P03xx Ignition system and misfire detection
P04xx Additional exhaust regulations
P05xx Speed and idle speed control
P06xx Computer and output signals
P0700 to P0999 Transmission
P2000 to P2299 Fuel and air proportioning
P23XX Ignition system and misfire detection
P24XX Additional exhaust regulations
P25XX Additional input signals
P26XX Computer and output signals
P27XX Transmission
P28XX Reserved
P29XX Fuel and air proportioning

P5525 is the one that causes ABS/PSM light to be lit. Usually it appeares with P0103 -115 Mass Air Flow Sensor - Above Limit.
Now, if the P1657 is correct fault, the explanation is not. According to WSM / Diagnostics:
P1657 .................................................. ..............................
274 Overrun Recirculating Air Valve Output Stage - Open Circuit ..............
Diagnosis/Troubleshooting .................................................. .....
274 Overrun Recirculating Air Valve Output Stage - Below Limit ...............
Diagnosis/Troubleshooting .................................................. .....
274 Overrun Recirculating Air Valve Output Stage - Above Limit ...............
Diagnosis/Troubleshooting

Recirc valve problem causing ABS/PSM disconnection is not the most likely issue to be thought, but IMO still possible.
