Got my first check engine light today after almost 3 years of ownership, I took the car out of a 6 month winter hibernation today. I was cruising and decided to let it rev a little first time this summer through some tunnels.

Anyway, got a check engine light and turned the ignition off then started again, light was gone and didnt come back for the rest of the drive home. Any ideas? Car has 3" catless with o2 extention bungs, k24 and ruf tune. I know it could basically be anything, but has anyone experienced this just after taking it out after winter...?

Also will I be able to find the code if someone could read for me? Even though it is no longer lit?

Yes it can still be read even after the light goes out.
