Anybody Use 3M Paint Defender Clear Film Spray

Anybody Use 3M Paint Defender Clear Film Spray - anybody have any experience with it?

I have been wanting a clear bra but there were not pre-cut clears for GT2 fronts that I could find and my previous company sign shop was leery to do a custom one...

If you could just spray it on, that would be fantastic!

I've used this before:

Honestly...it really does nothing for rock chips, and it looks crappy when it's sprayed on. It has a really blurry look to it.

However, I did think it was pretty amazing at the time because I used it on a trip up to Georgia during love-bug season. (if you live in Florida, you know love-bug season is a NIGHTMARE on your car!! They literally cover your car to the point you can't even see out the windshield!!). It worked pretty well because I was able to wash the bugs off pretty easily once I got to GA. But any other time, I wouldn't really bother with it.

Thanks for the feedback! Sounds like it was too good to be true! May work well for a track type temporary wrap to keep rubber marks off!

Yeah that's what it seems. For the price point I may give it a try this year. Seems simple and can't hurt! A full front bumper wrap is almost 2-3x just having it painted again. Can't really justify that in my head!

XPEL film has pre-cut film available. I just had the whole front end (including front fenders) done on the GT2. I had the XPEL ultimate self healing film used. The film is very clear you can't even tell it's on the car.

Paulie,

Who did you have install the film? I'm in Houston and I wouldn't mind getting this done. Thank you in advance.
