Should I accept this fix and dont think Ruf liked my post

If I were you, I'd take the new bumper that Hans is offering. It's a bit of a hassle to have it fitted and painted again but at the end, you'd feel better about it. Your body shop should've told you about the imperfection prior to painting the bumper. They're the expertise in this case. I'd look for another body shop too. I hope everything turns out better. Good luck, Doug.

Guys...fitting bumpers, especially aftermarket ones, is an art-form. While they are designed to fit...most shops have to do some sort of adjustments to make it work. When I had an OEM Aerokit II bumper installed on my Boxster, the dealer had to make adjustments...and that's with a Porsche part!! I don't think you can blame Ruf on this. I understand your point of wanting everything perfect in case of resale, but most buyers, especially those that know Ruf, will also know that aftermarket mods are not an exact science. Be happy that the bulge is under the car and go drive that monster!!

It seems as thought Hans is doing everything in his power to make it right. I know him personally and he's very reasonable. Maybe this is just miscommunication.

heck he is even willing to take care of the body shop bill so what's the problem
My suggestion would be to let Hans send you the new bumper and also let him deal with the body shop for the fitment too.I will also confirm with Hans that you don't expect the new bumper to have this problem and if it does then you would expect a full refund,i think that would be pretty fair, not that he is not already.
