Complete K24 cartridge (hot and cold wheel) with the hot housing from a K16 machined to fit. The idea was that the smaller housing would spool a bit quicker.

Does anyone have the measurements of a K24 exhaust wheel? It looks a lot bigger in the picture....

Still doesn't add up:

K16 and K24 use a 60.5mm Inducer and a 40.5mm Exducer

http://baeturbosystems.com/compresso...1-1-1-2-3.aspx

The K16 Exhaust uses a 55mm Inducer and a 49mm Excuder:

http://baeturbosystems.com/compresso...1-3-1-2-4.aspx

The K24 Exhaust uses a 59mm Inducer and a 49.55mm Excuder:

http://turbocharger.en.gasgoo.com/au...s/1523627.html

My setup has the following

Compressor Excuder: +2mm
Exhaust Inducer: +2mm over K16, -2mm under K24
Exhaust Exducer: +3.75mm over K16, +3.2mm over K24

This would tell me that it's going to make more power than a standard K24, but spool somewhere between at K16 and K24 turbo.

K24 compressors are about 2mm larger than K16 anyhow so thats what you have there. tehy are surely diff. The info out there is confusing. On the hot side it's really hard to say exactly. Need to measure a live US K24. I have a stock set coming in soon.

K24 is a family of turbos, not a single given size. You have a KKK2470 (2.4" exducer with 70% of that being the inducer dimension) compressor wheel there, which is standard on the 996 X50/GT2

Hi guys, I hate to revive an old thread, but I need some help.

I'm trying to sell these turbo's what were removed from my car last year. I was told from the PO that they were K24's with EVOMS Wg's.

I have a potential buyer asking if they are K24's or K16/24's

What can I do to properly identify them?

Here's a few pics:

I sent some pics to Sam and he was all over it. Confirmed as full K24's.

If anyone doesn't know Sam@bydesign is a great source of parts. Contact him before buying from anywhere else!

Looks like a k16 hot side to me. The blades are straight.
On a k24 they slightly angled.
Check my site you will see back to pics
I'm only my phone can't put up a pic.
Maybe the angle of the pics u took is throwing me off but I don't think so
