how do reliability & maintenance costs compare between let's say C4S vs TT? what are typical maintenance costs for 15k, 30k services? thanks!

Hey ProV1,

Get the TT, you won't be happy with the C4S, I almost bought an 03' C4S but knew it would not have enough power for me. The TT is built like a tank, the C4S is a wanna be TT...no dis-respect to C4S owners OK....also you won't have to deal with the RMS issue.

I think the 15K service on a TT is something like $450-$600, anyway you can do it yourself and then spend the money you saved on more mods...lol

Cheers,

Ben

hey Ben - thanks for reply. sounds like you are having a BLAST w/ your new toy!!

I'm really enjoying driving the cr@p out of my S2000, and when the lease runs out in 2 yrs, it'll be TT time.. i just gotta decide cobalt blue or polar silver..

and I thought about selling my 540 and getting a E39 M5, but my 540 has been too good to me, and only has 30k miles. I'll keep her forever, and next up for her are: 19" BBS RGR, M Tech bodykit, Eisenmann exhaust, Angel eyes.. !!

God I love the TT, it is impossible to drive the thing below 50, I am totally sold on turbo's now. Superchargers are so much more linear, you don't get the kick in the pants you do from the turbo's

I know what you mean about keeping your 540 with everything you have done plus the fact it has low miles and is very reliable....why sell.

I am having a tough time selling my S/C 540, everytime I drive it, I feel like keeping it....The trouble is I want and need more power out of my TT, I have this devil in my head saying GT700 kit.......

Both nice colours BTW, Cobolt Blue would be my choice out of the two. I love the Seal Grey I have.

Keep that S2000 wound up OK....
