V-Flow Air Intake / MAF Issues
#16
I clean mine with carb cleaner and then a shot of rubbing alcohol. Seems to do the trick. I have also soaked the entire MAF in motor oil overnight and then cleaned it and it worked like new, I do not see how you can ruin these things other than physically breaking them or indroducing too much voltage to them.

I found these:
i-Chem Electronics Cleaner NF ICA369
http://amrepdata.amrep.com/MRO/TDS/A.../ICA369TDS.pdf
It says it easily removes dirt, dust, light ils, flux and other deposits from contacts, circuit boards, relays, switches solder joints and other electronic devices.
Electrolube ULS - Ultrasolve
http://www.electrolube.co.uk/docs/tds/ULS.pdf
For removal of greases, oils, flux residues and acrylic conformal coatings from PCB's.

Todd,
Do you have a picture of this new "Oil-Free" Air-Filter?
Also, does the lack of oil (and the corresponding increase in filter material) decrease the flowrate of the Air-Filter?
Thanks,
KJ

I put a post up to test and see how many would want to do it. You have to buy a ton of them in order to get the pricing.
