Pictures of Sharky's Bent Rod....
OK so I figured that'd get some of you guys to click on here
OK sexual-jokes aside, here's a stock rod in good nick vs' one of the 3 that I did bend. Notice how they're fairly s-shaped. AKA boys don't try this at home. Above 700Hp an you oughta think about getting a built motor...
Still I can claim running running 10s on low boost with three bent rods. That's a record nobody will want to break lol.

On a more current note. Mike@EVO just gave me some rather exciting news about the car:P Looks like we're gonna need even stickier tires for our next run at the 1/4mile. 335 RA-1s just don't cut it anymore lol...

Heheh I know I know Still.. I went with the Carillos. The Ti's are nice but I'm worried about lengevity and the power levels we're running at.

Welcome to the club!!! I guess i messed my engine up slightly worst. After talking to Todd at EVOMS, I opted for the Carrillo rods as well for longevity reasons. I also went with EVOMS custom forged pistons plus intake and exhaust titanium valves. I am also having the Torque converter modified like you. Since i have a Tipronic gear. Hope to hear from you as you are now my Idol !!!!!.........Lucky you.
BTW, Nice piece in the May/June issue of Modified L&E magazine.
