a tire set at that price that wasn't a compromise from michi's would be like a x'mas present.

I'd take Pirelli's or Michelin's over BF's.
at first glance, that looks almost too good to be true. they first list the pirellis asims at $228 ea which is a steal in 315-30 but then they list $550 ea for the same tire. (?) ( which is about right and $ similar if not more than ps2's ). but the asim 235-40 fronts are about $225 ea. which would make any sensible person rethink running pirelli's again. they always served me well. so a g note for a new set of pirelli''s is not a bad idea. new set of ps2's is 1600 easy.. plus align etc.

i sure like ps2s, though pirelli's are a close second. near as i can recall

As an update, I posted that link because I'd found them while tire shopping. I got my tires today, 315/30/18 and 235/40/18. On the side of the tire, it says N4. So, these are the Porsche spec tires in 315/30/18 for only $228.60. The front tires I purchased do not say N4, but I knew that going in, just made sure the load rating was the same as the Porsche spec ones.

All in all, I'm extremely pleased with what I received.
