As long as they are a direct fit for our cars, I'm good with either LED or the full bar.

couple aftermarket LED styles for NB 996:

"997 style"

"996 style"
Hopefully the these tail lights don't end up like the two aftermarket lights above. Those look very cheesy and VERY ricer.

I really like the 997 style, but it has to be OEM in appearance otherwise it's going to looks like some eBay parts.

Agreed 100%!

Feelgood MD is infamous around these parts
i love both the 997.2 "ring" and the 991 "slit" (and i'm assuming the 991 "slit" = "horizontal bar"). however, i'm also concerned that the slit/bar may not work well on our big butts as previously mentioned. therefore, we should wait and see what looks best on our cars...

so...i think before we give them any halfway firm preferences, we desperately need to see some realistic examples of the final products mounted on a 996 WB. if a designer/factory doesn't have an autoCAD and the ability to throw together a few different options they're probably not worth doing business with in the first place.

^agreed...however it'd be better if the manufacturer gave us realistic examples of what they could do rather than one of us just messing around on photoshop is all I'm sayin. Btw I'm in for 2 sets (assuming they look/function right).

Jeez... remember posting these in July 2011

My biggest concern all along was to see how that center cutting line would incorporate into the design. It flows through the entire decklid so as the OEM lights I would think that the color scheme, not just the shape, should be streamlined into it. It's tough trying to work around the OEM to make something new. The normal 996s don't have this problem. Maybe I'll try something out later.

Ray, here's a few other color schemes for reference. Feel free to use any of the chops for reference. And feel free to give me a discount.
