Gotta be honest - I like the silver GT2 ones the best.

 

I agree, but I wouldn't shy away from any of the designs on the yellow GT2 either...

 

C4S owner here. I am sending some positive energy to this thread and voting for the 991 style. Look more stealthy to me, whereas the 997 style looks flashy.

Yes, that's a good look... I'm wondering if it would look better to have all white lenses with the colour coming from within the LED and then having the lights smoked to tone down the "clear" effect. (That would work really well for me since I have an Arctic Silver TT) ... Did I mention Photoshop?

 

That was my #2!

 

Note horizontal contour runs across decklid and divide between white/red on oem taillights. Same across most turbo deck lid variations. one reason for preference to #4.

 

i stand corrected, slider...photoshopping was a fantastic idea!

i love yellow GT2 #4 b/c it follows the lines of the decklid. however, i'm also curious to see a photoshopped clear version that slider described above, as well as a similar option with one minor variation: inverse the yellow GT2 #4 so that the white/reverse lights are the outer "ring" and the red/brake light is the inner "bar". that would more closely replicate the 991's red "bar/slit" under 99% of driving conditions (driving/braking), but throw a lot of light when reversing which is when you need it.

my only concern with the smoked lens is that it wouldn't look very OEM. yellow GT2 #4 looks most OEM to me.

 

I think I like #3 on the yellow GT2 the most, closely followed by #4.

Silver GT2 or the yellow #4 indeed seems best. Too much clear would make it look ricey IMO.

 

Yellow #3 works for me. As long as they are symmetrical it with the horizontal body line, it should be fine. #4 has too much red, thus being not symmetrical.
