No he will not be anywhere close to 180mph half mile. To be around 180 to 190 you need over 1000 whp. Gtr ran 190.6 over here an had over 1100whp


He will be in the low 170mph at best.

 

Ha. What? I ran 187mph in the half mile recently at 30psi. 28psi will easily run 180's. I make just above 1000hp at 30psi. Smh, noob.

 

The GTR is roughly 600 Lbs heaver so add that to equation of doing 881 @ 24 psi and another 150 HP @ 30Psi, car is still full weight and i mean full jam. haven't removed anything yet (YET)

Im already touching 175 where the car is now.

Todd is correct he went 224 in the Mile at 1100hp and im not gauging my car to his but they are simular. His car is a serious weapon.

That's just what i said the post above!!!! over 1000hp you will be in the 180mph range for the half mile and the OP will be in the 170 range also lets see some time slips its a lot harder then it looks to get to 190mph you need a lot of horsepower because the air and wind will slow you down.

I notice a trend here on 6Speed that you are a "know it all". So tell me how you know about manual trannies. Don't you drive a tip? Also tell me how you know how much it takes to go 180+ in the half mile. Hell, tell me how you can do 180 period. All you've proven is you can bench race with the best of them.

I watched a yellow turbo with 500whp do 150 mph at heavens landing airport and a GTR and yes don't tell me a GTR sucks vs a porsche turbo did 190.9mph and had over 1000whp. That miata was built V8 made a good amount of power and ran 138mph.

Urban ran 173mph, not 160mph. And he did that on 24psi. I have ZERO to prove to you. My slips have been posted for years on here. I never claim to be the fastest. Nice try. My point is, your constant need to prove everyone wrong is annoying. Chill out.

 

Ok so lets say 173mph that's still not 190mph. You need over 1000hp to do that because you need facts not just random numbers. I'm not arguing just posting info.

 

actually keith its all about power to weight ratio. add d/a , coeffiecient of drag, tire selection, wind direction and ad so many other factors to run fast in a long event.
look at the bikes running mile events. busa's weighing less than 900 lbs and 250 hp hitting 200+ mph

randys car is just a shade over 3000 lbs and with 800 rwhp should easily hit 180 at clayton this yr.
bht has a massive power car but doesnt need to run full on boost to hit 180 mph as im sure cory's car doesnt either. remember urbanhotrods car hit 176 in just its first time out in close to 2 yrs with 880 rwhp. theres more to come im sure! this car is just getting warmed up and with some more tuning it will be a force to reckon with!

I have proof my car went 258kph, I have proof my car went 173.4 I have Proof my car made 881 @ 24PSI

Again i said and will repost if i turn it up to 30PSI this will do 1000 WHP the tune is a very conservative tune with a lot of fuel and no timing. Marco likes to keep it that way so there is never a worry of leaning out.

I just book my track rental here at TMP for Sept 13 so if any non Believers would like to come i don't mind at all.

Btw I never ever said that my car would do 190MPH but i am sure as hell gonna try.

cory how is the slave assist working? i have emailed marco numerous times trying to get a kit built but sadly no luck!

 

He is so busy that he made the kit and we haven't installed it yet. It will be in next week so we can use it at the track.
