The Ypipe you are useing is 2.5" right ? Or 3" ?
Could you kindly post some of your mods ?
I will be thankfull

Enjoy
Thanks man! Actually they're alpha 3073s! (3071s with a 73 wheel.)

These turbos spool like crazy down low and hit like big turbos up top!

I wanted the best of both worlds and I think this is about as close as

you can get.

The Y pipe is a 2.5 inch SpeedTech modified with Tial 50mm BOVs. There's

a pic of them earlier in the thread.

Here are some pics of the FVD 3.8 Ps & Cs, hard piping to the Markski

3.5 ICs, the 997 GT2 main shaft and gears, the CMS billet side plate,

the modified fuel rails, ERP triple cf clutch and the e85 fuel setup.

This is a 3 - 4 shift and I managed a 5.18 second 60-130. Mind you, this was

in 75 degree weather with high humidity. I'm certain it'll hit 4.9s when it drops

to mid/ low 60s and the humidity calms down. I'm equally certain it'll do

mid 4s using the 2 step under the same conditions.

After I take a breather, there's gonna be another 100 lbs coming off the car.

I'm 380 lbs off stock as it sits and another 100 should make quite a

difference. ProEfi makes spinning tires a thing of the past

A 2900 lb 996TT with 950 crank hp should be exhilarating.

Thanks man! I just wrote the checks lol! It's really SamboTT, IPD, SpeedTech,

ProEfi, Markski and the 2 geniuses that put it all together and tuned it, Fred

and Errol.

I did however design the basic layout of 3073s, e85 and ProEfi.

uh er.... well, hind sight's 20 20.

I would encourage anyone considering an after market engine management,

e85 conversion or any major engagement, to consult with as many people

possible who have done it BEFORE they start. DO NOT LISTEN TO THE GUYS SELLING THE

PRODUCTS.

Looking forward to seeing more! Hope you all are getting past the heat, hell even if I could drive mine right now this 90*+ days are killing.
Who are you kiddin??? This whole, " I'm building a monster Porsche" bit is

smoke and mirrors lol

Thanks Chris! It's been 90+ humidity here in Bama. I've spent enough time

in your neck of the woods to know it's a few notches worse there. I've

got an office in Houston and I only visit in the Winter! Between the traffic

and the heat..... dear lord.

If I go higher horsepower it'll kill the daily driver part so I'm gonna spring

for some custom carbon fiber body panels, hood etc.. a voltphreaks lithium

battery and sunroof delete. That'll put me around an even 2900 LBS and with

850ish to the wheels, I should be okay! Nuthin this side of you, urbanhotrod

1200 hp gtr's or 1500 hp TT gallardos are gonna mess with me. And the

gtr's and gallardos would need a flatbed to the redlight

Did a 4.81 run tonight and I have submitted it to Mike for verification. It was 69 degrees

and I was running an 80% ethanol mix. Overall the conditions were better then my

4.91 run. I did 3 runs. 4.99, 4.84 and 4.81. I love the consistency of the ProEfi!

All 3 runs were performed in a 30 minute period!

That's moving Randy. Sounds like you have a real good car there in Abalama. Let me know if you would be interested in competing against the fastest cars in the country at the next Texas Invitational. I need all the Pcar help I can get!

Thanks Todd! I would love to put those damn TT Gallardos in their place!

If you converted to e85 and ProEfi with your setup......you could def be

in the range of beating them. E85 is identical to c16 in the power making

category and the ProEfi would allow you to run safe at 99% of your cars

max ability......with little to no wheel spin! If you drove this car, you'd be

sold. Think about it, I did 4.81 on a modified 3071 turbo! With your turbos,

you will be in the flat 4s, maybe high 3s. You would get another 10-15 mph

in the mile

I'm running these little 3073s so I would have to slap on some precision

6262s for the TI. My tuner could have me ready in a couple days and my

fuel system will cover 1200 hp on corn. I'd be happy to help!

Heck, I could go 15 mph faster in the Mile with a taller 6th gear. My focus is only from 70-180 now for TI and other roll race events. We are doing some things to improve that range like weight reduction and quicker spool. I've contemplated the E85 thing and others like you are having good luck with PRoEFI. These turbos simply don't spool before 60mph so my 60-130's were better with small turbos.
