AD08's may be stickier than the PS2's, (which are rated 220) but I highly doubt they are grippier than Sport Cups.

At any rate, they don't come in 315/30/18 either, so I'll probably never try them to find out.
Correct on the Sport Cups for Dry weather grip although the AD08 is not really that far off the overall dry grip of the sport cup but they are miles better then the sport cups in the rain or colder temperatures.

Did you decide to keep the car? If not - who cares about the tires?

I would agree on the AD08. It's an awesome overall tire.

would be good to note the 19" size at start of thread..305/30-19 has a bunch of solid options(factory 997 GT3 size), Re-11's R-S3's, AD-08(as mentioned before), r888, Corsa Systems, SportMaxx Race, MPSC, etc

should really consider the 305/30-19 size, very slightly narrower but the extra height gives added traction(and better ride quality)

Pilot Super Sports are great in that size (305/30 19). If you're not getting traction play with the tire pressure. I have mine set to about 37 PSI in the rear.

googone20 is infamous around these parts
Michelin PS2's have slightly better grip than Michelin PSS's. That being said, the PSS's last longer and ride smoother then the PS2's. My buddy builds pro touring muscle cars for a living, and he is running BFG Rivals on his 1970 Chevelle right now. He said they are awesome, and I have heard a couple guys at the tracks have said they prefer the Rivals over the Michelin tires. My personal choice is Michelin. I swear by them and I use them on all my street cars. They simply are the best all around tire for what you do on the street. My 944 track car has Toyo R888's, but they are a softer tire and they are noisy to me on the street.
