Oil Analysis Results from Blackstone Labs.
I have wondered how often you should change your fluids (engine, transmission, and front differential). There has been much advice for street only, track only, and the combination of the two.
After sending all three samples from my car (57K miles) with~3.3K miles on the fluids, including 7 track days and “normal” street driving.
The summary of the report from Blackstone came back with great results with all three fluids.
1) Front differential: No harmful contaminants, low insolubles.
2) Transmission: Same as above.
3) Engine: Viscosity was fine, and no dirt, water or coolant was found.
The fluid for the transmission and front differential is Red Line 75W/90. For the engine, Pentosin High Performance II 5W/40.
The report suggested to run the fluids even longer (5K miles) when submitting the next samples.
The first samples I sent only had 1K miles with 3 track days. Decided to run more miles since the results were very good.

I have sent my oils to On-Site Analysis in Florida before..
I once sent my Mobil 5W40 with about 10 months and 4500 miles of street driving and lots of dyno pulls to get checked out ..Result oil was still good and they also said to wait another few thousand miles for another check next time..

Next samples will have 9 or 10 trackdays with street driving, but no more than 5K miles total.
I forgot to mention that the sample in the OP was 11 months old.

Its a good feeling to know that the oil is up to snuff in the protection area and detergent area for long reliability for the lubricated motor / turbos..

LOL..I was sending in some of my motorcycle race oils and I thought it would be interesting to see if the **** oil changers are wasting their money with todays better quality oil and longer interval recommendations..

lol. this car makes me crazier than any i've had. yet i draw the line at sending in oil samples, yet i see the wisdom of it. having said that, i also refuse to see a proctologist for any reason. lol

You can run but you can't hide son... When times comes, they will be sticking a long tube called a Colonoscope right where you won't want it to go
