Evoms doesn't actually make their studs, but there is a really cool feature about the bottom of the studs that arp's/ race ware dont have.

I have held and installed ARP, EVMOS and Raceware.

ARP: LOL

Evoms: Made by A1. Are longer and are meant to be bottomed out in the case. They use the factory one piece nut.

Raceware: Do not bottom out. have nuts and washers. use a fine thread on the head side of stud. stud and nut are coated with a low friction coating.

BBI: I have never held one, they have similar look to evoms but looks as if it does not bottom in case. It has a allen press in head side like evoms. Has nuts and washers. Looks to be a fine thread on the head side.

What I have learned is that pre loading the case by tightening the stud all the way in reduces the strength that was available.

Thread pitch... m10x1.50 vs m10x1.25.. m10x1.25 has a 5% greater clamp up force for the same torque value. So the fine thread of the raceware and BBI (Not sure of BBI pitch) will have greater clamp up accuracy. Also when the washers are lubricated properly they act like bearings to further insure accurate torque up.
